For a woman who was assaulted and murdered in my neighborhood

The news is reporting that a man went into the local Catholic bookstore and sexually assaulted several women by gunpoint and then shot one of them and killed her. The killer is still at large in our community. This happened in the middle of the afternoon on the busiest street in town. Literally hundreds of cars probably drove right by as this was happening. Everyone is terrified that this brazen murderer is still running around out there.
 
Prayer for Murder Victim

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. @allegra’s neighbor was violently taken from us. Come swiftly to this neighbor’s aid, have mercy on her, and comfort her family and friends by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Police

St. Michael the Archangel, watch over the police as they try to find this perpetrator. Protect them in the course of their duties. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer to Guardian Angels

Lord, may the Guardian angels watch over everyone in this frightened community. In Jesus’ name, amen.
 
Prayed for the eternal repose of this murdered woman’s soul, and also prayed that her murderer would be swiftly apprehended and put in jail, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I saw this on the news this morning. Beyond disturbing.
Father bless all involved and comfort the families and may all heal from their emotional scars. May the assailant be brought to justice so they no harm may come to others. In your name, Jesus amen!
 
Lord bless this women and forgive her of her sins.

Please forgive the murderer of this sin and crime they have committed.
