Dear friends in Christ,

Please, if you would, say a prayer for an old friend of mine who has been battling pancreatic cancer for a few years now. She is only 43 years old with two young sons, one who has a serious developmental disorder. From social media postings by those closest to her, I get the sense that she is nearing the end. If healing is not His will, please pray for a peaceful passing, for the repose of her soul, the comfort of her family, and for the spiritual health of her children.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Saying a prayer now for her healing (if that is God’s will), and that she be given grace and comfort as she endures the suffering brought on by her cancer. Praying for her family as well.
 
Praying to St. Peregrine for this Mother’s health & recovery.
 
That she will have reached perfect contrition
for her sins before she passes away.
That she will not denied God’s Covenanting,
Eternal and Infinite Love embodied in
Jesus Christ and His Church, the Truth,
the Way and the Life and will have rejected the
empty promises of the world, the flesh and

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular DAML72’s friend , and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal DAML72’s friend. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into DAML72’s friend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for DAML72’s friend, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
