Christina Grimmie, a young singer. Recently got shot and is in critical condition (in the head apparently). Please pray for her and victims of gun violence 😦
 
Update: she has passed away.

Pray that the government would change their gun laws to protect lives
 
May Christina rest in peace and may the God of all comfort be with grieving family and friends. Lord, we pray for an end to gun violence in this country.

thanks for the info. a recent contestant? I have only seen the show a few times. guess I will look up the news story. tragic.
 
She and her family has always been open with their faith in God. Such a beautiful spirit. She encouraged her fans to trust in God as well through social media.

According to an old friend, the man that shot her was her ex. But no official statement as of now.

Praying for her soul and praying that her loved ones have the strength to cope with the loss, as well as other people who have experienced a loss in their lives as well.
 
Was completely shocked to hear this news when I woke this morning. So young, and she had so much going for her. Praying for the repose of her soul, may she be granted eternal peace in the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen

she was a beautiful spirit. I saw the video she posted inviting fans to the show. how sad. I wondered if it was a fan. I have not looked since early this morning to see more news about this. her brother was right there. praying for all her family today.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Christina Grimmie’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
