For academic success and important exam tomorrow

So, I have a biology midterm 8:30 AM Central Time. I didn’t get to study much because I’ve been sick (like a lot of other people here). But, this class is really important and I want to become a medical doctor. I’m a low-income daughter of immigrants in an elite American university: college has always been a miserable place for me. I want this to be the year I reclaim my drive I had in high school. But, I’ve been struggling and been really resentful of my more privileged classmates. I’ve even had racist feelings for the first time in my life. Please pray for my exam and academic success. I also have a paper due later this week for Spanish.

Also, I forgot to update my prayer thread for my dog before it closed. For anyone who offered prayers for her, thank you, she has made a full recovery.
 
A Student’s Prayer to St. Anthony

O blessed Saint Anthony, may all students place their studies under your
powerful protection. Through your intercession, may the Holy Spirit fill
them with light, strength, intelligence, and humility. I implore the Creator
of all things to grant these students the ability to grasp concepts correctly,
and the talent to be exact in their answers. Through Christ Our Lord, amen. ✝️
 
Praying that this WILL be your year to get the drive needed to do well in your classes and especially this midterm. My daughter was a premed student at one point and had some miserable times indeed so I also pray for all medical and premed students often. She is now in medical school.

Praying that your resentment will cease as it must be difficult to be in your situation with so many privileged classmates and that your Spanish class goes as you need it to be as well.

No, I just have a difficult time with school. Which, by no choice of my own, is my everything. All I want and all that my parents want for me is to never have to worry about money and that my own kids can have a normal childhood and not have to work more hours than an adult in their teen years. All I wish for most days is a 40 hour work week. The stress is so bad that I have sores that are constantly bleeding on my scalp and back. While high school was hard, it was never THAT bad. I look like a leper compared to my latte-sipping peers in designer brands and full makeup.
 
Praying for your situation. Praying you will come to know God’s love for you and not compare yourself with others. God looks at the heart and not at superficial things like what clothes a person wears.
