O JESUS,
grant us the courage to be with those
who counsel families, even to the last minute…
grant us to be instruments of peace
to those of good will, and grace,
grant us to arrive at the ‘quiet’ place
of war no more against even
boys and girls in the womb…
we long for when you wipe away.
every tear, and the lion lays down,
with the lamb…

May they not fall prey to fear, despair or hopelessness at their situation. May this trial be a means to turn to You for help. Help them not to listen to our society which has no faith in You or Your promises. Provide for them the means to keep this child and make the best decision for him. O Father in Heaven. Thou art the Creator of life. [Help us to] Protect all expectant [fathers] & mothers and the babies they carry in their [hearts] & wombs. We pray that those who suffer from the evils of abortion will be open to Thine Infinite mercy and love. We ask for the conversion of all who fail to respect the gift of human life.
