Lord please hear our prayers for all parents who are trying to be good parents to their adult children who may be resisting responsibility and becoming mature adults.Please guide us all to be the best parents we can be.Please grant us the strength and courage necessary to be good parents.Please Lord open the hearts and minds of our sons and daughters who are following dangerous or wrong paths in life.Please guide them to become the responsible mature young adults we know they can be.Please Lord help us parents to know what to do in difficult situations and that our adult children will be responsive.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Good Saint Anne and Saint Joachim parents of Mary
and grandparents of Jesus,
please pray for our children and grandchildren,
that may they grow in wisdom, age and grace before God
and may the the Holy Spirit guide them to the kingdom and to eternal life

Lord God, i join in the prayers of tbcrawford. I may not have children of my own yet but I know and appreciate the difficulties, challenges and rewards of parenthood, praticularly when one’s children are already adults. I pray for all parents that they may be enlightened by Your wisdom and knowledge so that they may discern how best to lead their children towards You and to always do what is good, be responsible, and be mature. I also pray for the adult children, that they may never forget to honor their parents and be responsive to the good advice their parents give them. May parents and children of any age be loving and respectful towards one another. Amen.
 
I have a 31 yr old that just moved out this past
Friday. And he is angry with me. He hasn’t
spoken to me since. But it was time for us to
go our own way. I pray that our adult children
find there way…:gopray2:

Mother Mary, please shower down graces upon Teresa and guide her. Protect her under your mantle of love and purity and help her to be the best, most responsible mother. Amen.

i have had to move in with my adult son and his wife because of economic reasons and took care of my grandson for the past 3 1/2 years while they worked. it has been very stressful for me and there are so many conflicts. so the prayers i am reading on this thread are very helpful. there are some days i just want to run away.

Oh God bless you my friend.So many of us here have had concerns with our adult children I felt moved to start a prayere thread for all of us and for our children.

wow, ijust noticed the number of posts that you have and you joined in 2009!!! how did you manage to get so many posts in such a short amount of time? i joined in 2008 and don’t even have 6,000 yet!

I try to pray for as many people as I can each day.So many peoplr have been kind and generous in praying for my intentions and so many others have such imprtant needs.I hope I can try to help as many people as I can.
