Lord please hear our prayers for all parents who are trying to be good parents to their adult children who may be resisting responsibility and becoming mature adults.Please guide us all to be the best parents we can be.Please grant us the strength and courage necessary to be good parents.Please Lord open the hearts and minds of our sons and daughters who are following dangerous or wrong paths in life.Please guide them to become the responsible mature young adults we know they can be.Please Lord help us parents to know what to do in difficult situations and that our adult children will be responsive.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Please God, hear our prayers. It is so hard to be a good parent today. Even if a parent does everything “right”, sometimes societal pressures are just more enticing and provide needed short term pleasures and feelings of belonging to our young people, and then they stray. It is so worrying and such a cross to carry alone. Please Lord, I beg of you to walk with us and send people to us to help carry this very heavy cross. It is lonely to be a parent trying to raise moral, decent young adults, only to have other forces sway them toward sin and make it look more “fun” than trying to be a good person. Please do not give up on our wayward adult children. Help us to be the parents they really need. Help us to be consistent, but kind. Allow our children to see their lives as you do and to have the desire strengthened in them to have a relationship with You, so that they can attain Heaven. Peel the scales from their eyes so that they can clearly see right from wrong and help them to desire “right”. Amen.

that in difficult moments we might not despair
