Whether you hit the trifecta (Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion) or were confirmed and communion (like my wonderful wife!), CONGRATULATIONS!

👍 :clapping: :dancing: :angel1: :blessyou:

Prayer of Welcome

Lord, our God, source of all life,
You reveal yourself in the depths of our being
drawing us to share in your life and love.
Bless each of us as we respond to your Spirit’s
invitation to open wide the doors to Christ.
Make the doors of our hearts,
our homes and communities
wide enough to receive
all who need human love and fellowship,
narrow enough to shut out all envy,
prejudice, and pride.
Let us hasten to welcome the stranger,
and so welcome Your Son.
We make this prayer in his name,
Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.

Praying for all who experienced the joy of joining the Church last night.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Congratulations! I hope to join you next year. God bless you in your new life!:blessyou:

1,000 Congratulations to your wife and to all who were welcomed into the Church this Easter. May you be abundantly blessed and serve as a source of blessing and conveyance of grace to others.
Amen.

I’m so happy and proud to be able to see our people get confirmed and receive the Eucharist for the first time. There were many tears.
This was the first year we didn’t have baptisms.

It was sad, but a sign of our times, as so many people co-habit, and think it’s not a impediment to receiving the sacraments.

Praying for EVERYONE who desires the gift of our Church and its sacraments, and its saints. May they see the gift of its steadfastness, even though they may hurt now.
May the doors of their heart change, and they make the changes necessary in their lives that will prepare them next year for complete reception of the sacraments.

It’s the hardest thing to do as an RCIA teacher. To be welcoming, loving and charitable, but also firm when it comes to the Church’s teachings.

But then I remember so many of our catechumens who waited AND attended RCIA for years while waiting for an annulment, or for a relationship to change in order for them to receive the sacraments. It was a beautiful thing to see them finally receive the Eucharist.

And my heart weeps for those who left in anger, because the church wouldn’t accommodate their situation.
Pray for them, please.

Wow, so happy for all the newly baptized and confirmed in the Church! Hard to believe it’s been 2 years since my baptism. Praying for all.

Merciful Father, in the name of our most lovable Jesus, of the Virgin Mary and of the saints, I ask you to set my brothers and sisters on fire with the Spirit of Your Love, and grant them the grace of making You deeply loved. Amen.
