Yesterday after Mass, a sweet young lady asked me how to join the RCIA.
I went with her to talk to the people who were handing out information.
She was eager to give her name and have our priest call her for an interview. 🙂

For all who are taking that great leap of faith and joining the Catholic Church.

May they have courage to follow the Holy Spirit’s direction.
May their souls yearn, and their hearts be filled with love for God.
May they be blessed with good teachers and friends along the way.
May they believe the teachings of the Church, and have boldness to profess their faith.

Let us also include in our prayers those who volunteer to serve as sponsors for those in RCIA. It is a commitment that few are willing to make and it can make such a difference to those who are seeking Christ’s Church.

We lift up in prayer the intentions of all who are contemplating joining your Holy Church, and for all who take the journey of faith with them, that they may be blessed and receive the bountiful gifts of receiving You through the blessings of your Holy Spirit and through the love of Jesus for each one. I know how important this program is as I joined your Holy Church through RCIA, and I have sponsored several young men in the years since then, and I have continued to make presentations each year to the RCIA participants. Please bless your Church with compassionate, driven, and loving ministers in this beautiful program. Help each member of your Holy Church to do their part in ministering to and attracting your people to a seasoned and mature relationship with You and Your Holy Church.

Praying for those going through the RCIA program…that they grow in holiness, and fully embrace the faith with all of their hearts, minds, and souls. ❤️

I attended RCIA and had a wonderful sponsorl I am now a Catholic and can’t tell you how much it means to me. I lost two dogs in the last year and a half which has caused me much grief. I try every Sunday to pray for my lost dogs but am confused as to how the Catholic faith deals with pets that die. I loved those dogs so much and I hope to see them when I die and cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Holy Spirit please ensure wise and sound catechesis and grant the gifts of faith and understanding, and a willingness to fully embrace the gospel of love and the Sacraments, to fill the lives of those who are joining the RCIA program. Please give them the support of their family and their team.
