Hello all,

One of my best friends from college has always had emotional struggles because of his parental situation, but it’s hitting him harder now. He’s been an anchor for me for so long, especially as I adjusted to college, and it breaks my heart to see him crippled so badly. He’s an inspiration to me and I want the best for him; please pray that he can seek counseling and advice so that he can heal and overcome this baggage.

UPDATE: he talked to his Dad (they’re close) and after seeking out help at church, the Dad decided that it is indeed a deeper matter that he should start healing on. Progress! Thank you for your prayers!

O Lady of Mental Peace,

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

His Love.

Lord, our God, You graciously chose St. Dymphna as
patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and
nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol
of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure,
youthful martyr, relief, and consolation to all suffering
such trials – especially @Hawkmaid7’s friend, who is
struggling emotionally.

We beg You, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna
on their behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience
in their sufferings and resignation to Your divine will.
Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and
cure they so desire. We ask this through Christ our Lord,
who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.
