For an End to Mother's Suffering

Thank you for your prayers for my mother, she is heading back into one of her periods where she is suffering a lot from a combination of confusion and frustration.

Lord Jesus, come to the aid of Maria, help and renew her; give her the joy only You can give. Please strengthen her Family giving to each what You know each needs. Guide each of the caregivers and give them the wisdom, knowledge, and strength to do what is best for Maria and her Family. Take good care of them, Lord, for they take care of those who cannot take care of themselves.

Thank you everyone, your prayers (and mine) are being answered, Mum’s spiral into confusion, frustration and anger started and stopped suddenly. She is still confused but has managed a few brief lucid moments, when she has warned me to cycle carefully. Today I had Mum back telling me to wrap up warm, asking if I had thick gloves and offering to crotchet me a reversible shawl (the most lucid she has been in the last 2.5 years). Those are rare and precious moments and a great blessing to both of us, so thank you (and yes I have, and will continue to thank the One who answered the prayers).
