Lord, protect with warrior angels all those who are persecuted for or suffer for their faith in any way. See that justice is meted in this world as a foretaste of the ever just New Jerusalem to come. Embolden the hearts of all your faithful that is discouraged by torrents of contrarian forces to the faith. Lead them by heaven’s light through the darkened paths of this fallen world. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

God of Israel,
You led and protected Your people in the desert on the way to the Promised Land. On this last day of the week, we pray for the protection of all those in Kenya who are persecuted for their faith in Him, our Savior and Shepherd. Touch them with Your loving presence and grant them courage in difficult times.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
