hehe “fear of the same,” hmmm I don’t fear people who are the same as I am. Thinking homosexuals are wrong is not the same as fearing them.
If I call someone “greedy” does that make me discriminatory against people who have a problem with greed?
Christians should simply see it on the same plain as greed or jealousy. It’s not Good and it’s not in your DNA (unless you are going for some origional sin argument). People don’t (usually) wake up one morning and say “Hmm I think, instead of likeing the opposite sex today, I’ll like the same sex instead!” or "Hmm I think I should spend my day today being REALLY jealous of Cindy Crawford!’ Do people still feel jealous or greedy or homosexual? yes. And they usually don’t plan it. Just because you feel something without planning it dosn’t make it a good thing. We all have an area in our lives where we are more susceptable to sin. Some people never experience jealousy but they struggle with vainity, some never experience a problem with pride but do struggle with SSA.
So if this makes me homophobic I suppose I also have a fear of people who are vain, jealous, greedy, prideful, and/or lots of other things.
