For Charlie (2001-2017) and for all those left behind mourning

One of our classmates has died yesterday at the ripe age of 16 from a non-diagnosable condition. Sunday evening he entered the hospital, Tuesday late afternoon he died. He was a year older and although I didn’t know him I can tell you that when his death was announced half of the room exploded in sobs and tears. The family and the whole community have been hit by this sudden event. I’ve only really ever asked somebody else to pray for me once and don’t know if this would have a point but I know I’ve said several prayers and rosaries for his peace and for the comfort of those left behind. Andrew, Rosie, Poppy, and Ollie have lost a son and a brother and many others (Anna, Zara, Carly to name a few of those I know) have lost a very faithful friend they’ve known for a long time, in many cases a friend they’ve grown up with. I hope that my prayers combined with yours and the prayers of everybody else who knew him will ease his journey if he is Purgatory and bring peace to us, his friends, family and classmates who will miss him. May God bless him and all those who knew him. Thank you.
 
I’m sorry to hear that. I am praying for Charlie. May the Lord be merciful to this young man and may He comfort everyone who was affected by this death.
