For Christians who believe that only Christians go to heaven

I just wonder why it is that this site is made for questions, but when you have some, no Catholic wants to answer you. I have been called a liar, pm’d and told off, asked rapid-fire personal questions about myself…and never did get a helpful response!
Just saying…y’all make us look pretty bad as Catholics. I apologize to all of you who are truly here to help people, but the common tactic seems to be to accuse, confuse, and buddy-up with your own group. and I’m talking just in my own experience. Surely other people see this?

there is no lol smiley! That needs fixed. Maybe I missed it…anyway, lol!! I needed a good laugh.

If there was a question mark we missed please explain yourself as it seems very difficult to answer a question we cannot see.

I took your statement in post #56 saying, “you know it” to imply that I was lying to you.

I understand that Galileo’s teachings were not against dogma. I think the whole discussion here got blown out of proportion. One of my mistakes was that many fundamentalist Christians (and some Catholics) I’ve talked to seem to be opposed to all science; e.g. the whole Intelligent Design, literal biblical interpretation, and I applied that view here. Anyhow, it is quite obvious both through statements by Popes and by the existence of such institutions as the Vatican Observatory that the Church is not standing opposed to scientific advancement now.
