I was sitting absorbing all that went on today and was in deep religious thought. Thinking from different aspects, I found myself feeling a bit selfish or more “emotionally available” without great things to focus that emotion on. My point being, our fellow man that works and lives in dedication to God and his teachings has to endure a lot. I know that they give more than is expected of them from time to time and time again. I just wanted to share this and ask that we pray these selfless people who give soo much to the Lord that it strengthens our relationship with him.

We love and appreciate all of you!!!
 
May God bless our Clergy abundantly. I also pray for vocations so our clergy might be relieved of the tremendous responsibilities they have in light of the shortage of vocations.

The priests in my diocese are stretched to the limit and beyond. Yet they always try to be there for those who need them. Commending them and all priests to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.
 
Praying …

You expired, O Jesus,
but the source of life gushed forth for souls
and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life,
unfathomable Divine Mercy,
envelop the whole world
and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fount of mercy for us,
I trust in You.

Yes, a few minutes listening to a priest expounding on a religious topic can provide great relief!

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

O my Jesus,
I beg You on behalf of the whole Church:
Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit
and give power to the words of priests
so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance
and return to You, O Lord.

Lord, give us holy priests;
You Yourself maintain them in holiness.
O Divine and Great High Priest,
may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere
and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares
which are continually being set for the souls of priests.
May the power of Your mercy, O Lord,
shatter and bring to naught
all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests,
for You can do all things.
I ask You, Jesus,
for a special blessing
and for light for the priests
before whom I will make my confessions throughout my lifetime.
