For Comfort and Acceptance of my Lack of a Romantic Partner

Mid-August, I was broken up with. Even now, many months later, I still struggle to accept and be happy with my being single. Please pray for me, that I will be able to accept this and that I will be strengthened in waiting for the truly right person to come along.

I’m 20YO college male and have never been in a relationship and I do believe I am called to the vocation of marriage. It gets to me sometimes that I feel unwanted (really felt this way last night). I pray for patience often and I pray that I may find my future wife in God’s time and that she may be free of any addictions and know God’s love and mercy. I pray this for you as well:

God, please watch over @Capta(name removed by moderator)rudeman on the journey to your love through the vocation of marriage. Allow patience and virtue to grow during this absense of a relationship and do not let those who are single fall to self-pity. Help those in this situation to know your love, mercy, and compassion, and that we may be purified through your sacrificial love on the cross to be ready for the future spouse you have planned for us. We ask that Mary and all the Saints may watch over those who wait in anticipation and through your son, Jesus, we may all be healed by His unending love! Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
