Please pray for an 11-year-old girl named Cynthia. Her mother moved her two hundred miles to live in her boyfriend’s house a few weeks ago and she started attending the school where I work. Today, she was told that they have broken up and she has to go back to their old house. Cynthia is devastated because she loves her new school and has finaly made friends. Her mother told her that she can’t reenroll at her old school so she is going to be home-schooled until next school year. Please pray for her, that her mother will do the right thing and provide her a stable living arrangement that isn’t based on her sexual escapades.
 
Prayers said for Cynthia that God will help her cope with this big change. Prayers said for Mom as well for her well being.

Lord, please enter into Cynthia’s life in a special way–comfort her in her anxiety and let Your love be felt. Please guide her mother into your loving arms, and use homeschooling to bring her mother to a greater understanding of the importance of motherhood and its benign sacrifices. May Cynthia and her mother come closer to You as a result of this experience, and may they never abandon You nor one another. All this I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
 
Praying for Cynthia and that she and her mom can have a stable life and her mom will use good judgment.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Cynthia in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

PRAYER FOR PARENTS

Grant us, O Lord Jesus,
to imitate faithfully the example of your Holy Family
and to make our home another Nazareth.
May peace, love and happiness prevail.
Grant us the grace to be the parents
we should be for our children.
Grant that our child may find solid support
for their human dignity
and for their growth in truth and love
within the embrace of our home.
When the time comes for each of us
to go to the everlasting home you have prepared for us,
may your glorious Mother and St. Joseph take us to you,
after the final grace of a happy death.
