For Daniel (depression, behavioural issues)

Hello everyone,

a friend of mine is currently going through a rough time with his family. He had a horribly wicked past, being abandoned to his uncle by his birth parents - along with his two brothers. Lately, his uncle and aunt’s relationship has deteriorated and the poor little lad seems to be taking it out on everyone. He is a high school student, one year away from graduating, but has blocked out everyone close to him to the great anger of those who care about him (including myself), though I understand that the consequences of life affects each of us differently.

Could I ask you all to say a hearty prayer for him, a lad with such a bright future possibly ahead. Pray that God will strengthen him every day, and that he will recognise the true friends and true love he has surrounding him.

I’m praying for Daniel. May God open Daniel’s heart to the love that surrounds him and may He help Daniel focus on his studies.

Lord, please help Daniel realize that through you there’s joy and lasting peace. In your infinite mercy, govern Daniel’s actions— help him reach out to others in humility, guard his tongue, bless his efforts and guide his decisions. Help him to produce his best so that he may honor Your name; this I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
