For discernment on a financial gift

Hello beloved prayer warriors; I was wondering if you could say a quick prayer for me? A young married dynamically Catholic couple with a 3 month old baby I know has asked me for some extraordinary financial assistance. I REALLY want to help them, but I’m trying to discern whether giving them such a large donation is the prudent thing to do, or whether by my doing so I’m falling into an old trap of “people pleasing” please pray for my discernment on this; thanks everyone!!!
 
Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
And this money is for ??
If it’s for buying a business ,and you can afford to loose this money,
And you really want to do it,then advise take a business plan to a bank
And if a bank is willing to give a loan, then you will consider it more strongly ,
If it’s for buying a house,then the same applies,
If it’s for a car ,holiday, then advise a savings plan for them,
If it’s for bill’s ,then take a look at them all at your own leisure ,
If it’s for a better lifestyle ,then advise a savings plan,
If both are unemployed , then perhaps you could go shopping with them,
Generally when giving out money,there’s a reasonable chance they can’t pay back ,
Which creates more bad feelings,
 
Prayer Before an Important Decision

Lord, Almighty God,
source of light, truth, and eternal goodness,
transform this present moment
into an hour of vision and inspiration.
Help me to find wisdom;
shed light on my thoughts.
May my aspirations come true
through righteous and good deeds.
Give me the strength to concentrate,
to think objectively,
and to see clearly.
Shed your light on me so that I may see
which decision to make.
Help me, O my Eternal God,
to avoid vanity and pride,
and thus be able to make worthy decisions
as a true child of yours.

Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Jim in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
