I’m glad for you and for him
I thank God for this cause for hope that your step-son with convert to Catholicism. May God help him to decide with certainty and give him inspiration to lead and guide him with faith and faithfulness.
He’s only 18 and surprised me with this announcement outta the blue. He’s attended Catholic school for years, but has been raised Quaker by his father. Dad told him when he was 18 he could choose his own religion, and I decided not to interfere with that. My local pastor is willing to accept him into the Church before he leaves for college in the fall because of his Catholic education.
His discernment process is at a very fragile stage where I’m afraid that one wrong word from me could send him packing in aome other direction. I’m very anxious about the whole situation. There’s a lot riding on this, since I think that if he comes into the Church it will have a huge influence on his three younger siblings.
Father, we thank you for giving
Ramsey such a wonderful Stepfather!
We praise you for his Catholic Education!
We beg of you to send you Holy Spirit
upon him and lead him into the Church.
Guide him so that he may be a servant
for you and your will.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus!
AMEN
Please continue to keep this intention in your prayers. He is so close to heeding this call, yet so far. Also, pray for my patience. His reluctance at this point is more than a bit maddening…LOL! Thanks and God bless.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel! He has come to His people…!
Ramsey and I have an appointment to begin his instruction in the faith on Saturday evening. Thanks so much for all your prayers. Please continue, I’ll keep you posted.
