Do Evangellical Lutherans believe that pre-marital sex or living together outside of marriage is a sin against God?

On a related note, do Lutherans differenciate between mortal and venial sins?

Yes it is a sin and all sins are more or less equal.

This is from a LC_MS sight. Other than the anti-Catholic statements, which is a commonality in the LC_MS, the doctrinal basis is pretty much the same in regards to sin and the ELCA.
