That is what we entrust to God. The key phrase is “through no fault of their own” and the other key phrase " would have chosen Christ had they known of Him".Say a person grows up in a secluded part of Africa and is never in any way introduced to Christ or his teachings. We know God is just, so I cannot see him limiting heaven to only people who had Christianity presented to them during their life. What fault is it of a person who has never rejected Christ but has just never known him?
That mystery is left to God. What we do know that if they are in heaven they will be part of the one and only true church. It can be no other way or it would be false.
