Lord, open the door and provide an opportunity for all–( including those mentioned in this thread and my husband) seeking employment that they will find it so they can take care of themselves and their families with dignity. Bless their job search and efforts. Amen. :gopray2:

Loving God,

We lift up our hearts and minds in thanks and praise to you for another opportunity to love and serve you and your people this day. We ask for your divine mercy and care for all our brothers and sisters who are out of work and are concerned about their abilities to support their familes and themselves. We ask that you send them your peace and help them to persevere in the face of adversity and worry about this situation in their lives. Please help them to find the basic dignity in work that all of your people need and deserve as your children, and help those who can provide work to reach and employ those in most need of work. Help all of us to do everything we can to assist those who are out of work in their job search, and to take risks and make recommendations to help your people who might not otherwise have the door of employment opened to them. Please bless the job search efforts and hear the prayers of the many who need your love most now.

We pray especially for all of our relatives and friends who need work and all on the CAF forum.

We pray in the name of Christ Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

we continue to ask for prayer for my DH as we await to hear if he got an AWESOME job! thanks to all for the continued prayers and support.

A novena prayer I have used that has been helpful was a Novena to St John Bosco:

Father and Teacher of the Young, In need of special help, I appeal with confidence to you, Saint John Bosco, for I require not only spiritual graces, but also temporal ones, and particularly…(add your personal intentions here). May you, who on earth had such great devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary Help of Christians, and who always had compassion for those who were suffering, obtain from Jesus and His Heavenly Mother the grace I now request, and also a sincere resignation to the Will of God.

(Recite the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be)

Dear St. Joseph. You who taught our Lord the skills and value of work. Join with us to pray for Carolyn72850, sandramtz’s brother and all those who are in search of a job. Help them to find a rewarding job here and help them to do God’s work and earn the everlasting reward. Amen.
 
I have some wonderful news! My brother got offered a job and he starts training next week! Thank you everyone for your prayers. Please continue to pray for my family including my brother that all goes well with this new job. And trust me I will continue to pray for all those who are currently looking for employment. God is Good!!!
