Lord, open the door and provide an opportunity for all–( including those mentioned in this thread) seeking employment that they will find it so they can take care of themselves and their families with dignity. Bless their job search and efforts. Amen.

Dear St. Joseph. You who taught our Lord the skills and value of work. Join with us to pray for Carolyn72850, catmom50’s husband, my cousin and all those who are in search of a job. Help them to find a rewarding job here and help them to do God’s work and earn the everlasting reward. Amen.
 
Blessed St. Joseph, patron of all working people, obtain for us the grace to find employment and to labor in a spirit of penance for the atonement of our many sins. Help us to be conscientious in our work so that we may give as full a measure as we have received.

May we labor in a spirit of thankfulness and joy, ever mindful of all the gifts we have received from God that enable us to perform these tasks. Permit us to work in peace, patience, and moderation, keeping in mind the account we must one day give of time lost, talents unused, good omitted, and vanity of success, so fatal to the work of God. Glorious St. Joseph, may our labors be all for Jesus, all through Mary, and all after your holy example in life and in death. Amen.

We lift up our hearts and minds in thanks and praise to you for another opportunity to love and serve you and your people this day. We ask for your divine mercy and care for all our brothers and sisters who are out of work and are concerned about their abilities to support their familes and themselves. We ask that you send them your peace and help them to persevere in the face of adversity and worry about this situation in their lives. Please help them to find the basic dignity in work that all of your people need and deserve as your children, and help those who can provide work to reach and employ those in most need of work. Help all of us to do everything we can to assist those who are out of work in their job search, and to take risks and make recommendations to help your people who might not otherwise have the door of employment opened to them. Please bless the job search efforts and hear the prayers of the many who need your love most now.

We pray especially for all of our relatives and friends who need work and all on the CAF forum.

We pray in the name of Christ Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon the unemployed in their anxiety over their present inability to support their families. Please help them to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from their hearts and that they are soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to their care. Help them to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that they may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God.
