Heavenly Father, please help the unemployed to find work, including graduates.
Please help single parents and marriage partners to find suitable work to support their families.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships. Please help families to survive economically and emotionally. Please surround them with Your light and love.

Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease.Please have mercy on those who fear losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes, and sometimes their marriages due to financial stresses.

Please circumvent the greed of those who profit on the misery of others. Our God please flood into those who have great wealth to make to difference in the economy, and in those who triggered this depression through their greed, the compassion and generosity to genuinely and sacrificially labour to do so, in order that individuals and families are guaranteed their jobs and secure futures.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

We ask for your divine mercy and care for all our brothers and sisters who are out of work and are concerned about their abilities to support their familes and themselves. We ask that you send them your peace and help them to persevere in the face of adversity and worry about this situation in their lives. Please help them to find the basic dignity in work that all of your people need and deserve as your children, and help those who can provide work to reach and employ those in most need of work. Help all of us to do everything we can to assist those who are out of work in their job search, and to take risks and make recommendations to help your people who might not otherwise have the door of employment opened to them. Please bless the job search efforts and hear the prayers of the many who need your love most now.

We pray especially for all of our relatives and friends who need work including Diane (onwillowbay), LilFranciscan25, Peggy in Burien, justlookingny, Bruce, and all on the CAF forum.

Please pray for J., whose application to be a school teacher was turned down because of a problem with her paperwork.

May she be guided to the position that will best meet her needs at this turbulent time in her life.

This prayer really touched my heart. I pray for these intentions but don’t always subscribe,
just to keep my email count down, but I feel moved to do so now. My daughter is one in
this group for about 2 months now. I also pray for those with mental issues because of
joblessness.
Thank you Lord for your prayer warriors on CAF.
 
Again, I want to thank all of you who take time out of your busy days to pray for us. I feel so comforted just knowing that so many people care.

As an update, and to let you know your prayers are being answered, I came home to a most happy email. I had applied for a job I know I would really like, way back at the end of June. The store said they would email everyone if they didn’t call on the phone.

I waited and waited and waited (of course, applying for other jobs). I had told my family that if I couldn’t have my original job back, this one would be a very good second choice for me. But I never heard back. Just in case, though, I called to see if the job was still open the day I left to go to my uncle’s funeral out of state. The lady said she would have the general manager call me back, but, still, nothing.

Today, here is an email from them, addressed to probably more than just me, stating they have a second opening, and was I still interested! You bet! And I let them know–a little more formally, of course.😉

So, I hope to be hearing from them again. Prehaps, I will even get an interview.

Thank you for all the prayers–they are being answered. You cannot believe what a boost to my morale just having my application considered is! Thank you and Thank you, Jesus!
