I am adding my prayers to the above.
God, you have promised that you would provide for us in our needs.
You said that the lily spins not, neither does it sow, yet see how it is clothed in glorious array - therefore we boldly ask you to clothe all of the unemployed with clean, decent clothes that they can look good in for an interview, and that they can wear to work in comfort and style.
You said that the sparrow does no paid labour, yet he finds food for his family and builds his nest. Therefore, we boldly ask you to shelter all of the unemployed and underemployed in suitable houses, and give them good, nourishing, healthy food to eat every day for breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper.
In a parable, you told the people not to bury their talents; for this reason, we boldly ask you to provide them with work that is suitable to their temperments, and that makes use of their natural talents.
You said that the worker deserves his wages; therefore, we boldly ask you to provide them with enough for their needs, and a little bit over for savings, for giving, and for wholesome entertainment.
