I drive by there every week on my way back and forth between corpus and Houston, Father please help all of those who are affected by this business closing and grant that someone will purchase the franchise and rehire everyone or make it into another business, amenMy husband and I found this situation out first hand. We went to eat dinner tonight after Mass at a place called Chili’s which is located in Wharton Texas. When we walked in the door we were greeted like we normally are and were told that all the employees at this location were going to lose their jobs on the 16th of February. This is sad when it was a good place to eat and they just said that business wasnt any good so they were going to have to close the doors permanately on that date in February. Please lets all band together and unite our voices in prayer so that these people here will be able to find work after this restaurant closes. Many of them are college students who depend on this as a way to make a living to pay their expenses as well as single parents. I am going to offer an Our Father, Hail Mary, and August Queen prayer for everyone looking for a job so that they will be able to find one soon. St. Jude, patron of the Impossible, please hear our cries and ask Jesus to help supply their needs. Amen

Great encouragement to see all the prayer intentions for the unemployed. May the Lord bless all the desperate families out there in time of need. Things are not too good in Ireland, UK or Australia. Hope and pray that governemnts can do something to recapitalise banks and create Jobs. It,s easy to get discouraged or frustrated. St Joseph the worker pray for us. Let it be done according to God’s will.
