Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Dear Lord,

We lift up our hearts and minds in thanks and praise to you for another opportunity to love and serve you and your people this day. We ask for your divine mercy and care for all our brothers and sisters who are out of work and are concerned about their abilities to support their familes and themselves. We ask that you send them your peace and help them to persevere in the face of adversity and worry about this situation in their lives. Please help them to find the basic dignity in work that all of your people need and deserve as your children, and help those who can provide work to reach and employ those in most need of work. Help all of us to do everything we can to assist those who are out of work in their job search, and to take risks and make recommendations to help your people who might not otherwise have the door of employment opened to them. Please bless the job search efforts and hear the prayers of the many who need your love most now.

We pray in the name of Christ Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Please help Peggy to be successful in her application.

Jesus please have pity on the desperation that so many unemployed persons experience, as so many people are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes

Please help the unemployed to find work.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships. Please help families to survive economically and emotionally.
Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Thank you for all of your prayers! Please pray for me as well, I finally had a job interview this past Friday and I’ve been praying so hard that I will get it. I’ve been looking for work for six months now. Please continue to pray and I am praying for us all as well!

NeBin,

Your good news is raising my spirits today! Thanks for sharing it with us.

I will be praying that your interview turns into a job. Please, tell us if you get the job.

What kind of work is it? I am just curious (call me a cat! :->)

O, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Peggy

Unfortunately, it looks like I did not get the Americorps position I interviewed for, since I have not heard back from them in the amount of time I was told to expect. There’s a bit of a sense of going back to the drawing board for me, but I also am recognizing, more and more, the sheer number of people looking for work. It’s very difficult for all of us to find any with so much competition. May the Lord God bless us through the intercessory prayers of St. Cajetan and St. Joseph with newfound hope in our search for employment.

Don’t give up! My father always tells me, when I seem to miss out on some opportunity, that God has something better in mind for me. Even though I don’t see it, even when I am sure I know better, even when I have so much trouble trusting in Our Lord, He has been faithful, and I have found something better. It happened that way two years ago, when I thought I had interviewed for the perfect job for me; and then, didn’t get it. Within a couple of weeks, I was led to a much better job.

Now that I have been laid off, like Alice in Wonderland, I have to remember to take my own advice.

I will pray for you not to be so discouraged. Don’t give up on the Americorps job, either. I received a message from one work place apologizing to everyone for taking so long to sift through all the resumes they had received. They said they were simply swamped beyond all expectations. I had given up on this Amtrak position I am testing for tomorrow morning, too. So much time had passed, I was sure it had been filled.

My prayers for all of you looking, as I am, too. It is so hard to trust Our Lord and to keep up the courage, but we can do it!

Peggy

Jesus, through the interecession of your foster father St Joseph, please hear my prayers for:

Annie, who is working 1 full and 1 PT job as her husband is no longer…
Terri who has been out of work 11 months.
Myself such that I may continue to thrive in my temp position and land a permenant job.

There are so many of us crying out for help for ourselves and the sake of others, yet, please heed my prayers.

Annie needs to be able to be home more with her kids to support them through the loss of their dad. Terri seems to be having panic attacks. Myself…I only ask for your help in dissapating my anxiety and I can take care of the rest with your love and support.

Amen,
