Jesus please have pity on the desperation that so many unemployed persons experience, as so many people are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes, and sometimes their marriages due to financial stresses.
Please help the unemployed to find work.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships. Please help families to survive economically and emotionally.
Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease.
Please circumvent the greed of those who profit on the misery of others.
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Thank you all so much for your prayers. It looks like I spoke too soon. The Lord God has blessed me with a call for a second interview at Americorps! This is great news for me, and to think, just last night I felt on the verge of despair and asked the Lord God to help me by giving me some sign of consolation. How foolish I was to not trust in the Lord. Praise God for granting me such incredible grace, and may he bless all of you who pray for us without unemployment.

I pray for all those seeking work, also. I pray that once you get an interview, that you call upon the Holy Spirit to give you the right words to say…and to give you peace of mind.
