Our God, please have mercy on those who are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes, and sometimes their marriages due to financial stresses.
Please help the unemployed to find work, including graduates.
Please help single parents and marriage partners to find suitable work to support their families.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships. Please help families to survive economically and emotionally. Please surround them with Your light and love.

Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease, in order that individuals and families are guaranteed their jobs and secure futures.
 
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.

We ask that you send them your peace and help them to persevere in the face of adversity and worry about this situation in their lives. Please help them to find the basic dignity in work that all of your people need and deserve as your children, and help those who can provide work to reach and employ those in most need of work. Help all of us to do everything we can to assist those who are out of work in their job search, and to take risks and make recommendations to help your people who might not otherwise have the door of employment opened to them. Please bless the job search efforts and hear the prayers of the many who need your love most now.

We pray especially for all of our relatives and friends who need work including my son John, my sister in law Barbara, our sister Diane, and all on the CAF forum.

Lord, we continue to lift up the intentions of all who are unemployed, or underemployed, that they may find the dignity in work and be able to provide for themselves and their families.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit.

Please remember Jana and Kristen, who are looking for new teaching positions for next year, in the Catholic school system. May they both receive the grace to trust in the Lord for their daily needs, to do well in their interviews, and to be assured of positions next September, so that they can relax and really enjoy their summer holidays, to recharge their energy for the challenges of next year.
