Jesus, in Your early life you needed Joseph to find work in order to support You and Your Mother. He had to leave the work he supported Mary with during her pregnancy, to then find work in a foreign country where he didn’t even know the language; and then again when he took Your family to Nazareth. Later, others supported You by their charity, during Your public mission.

Jesus who lived amongst us as human person with human needs, please have mercy on those who are seeking work.

Mother Mary, and their guardian Angels and patron Saints, please pray for them.

Father please help the unemployed to find justice, and secure and happy employment, so that they can support their families and live without unfair stress.

Dear Father, had not Joseph been able to find work, first before his betrothal to Mary, then again as a refugee in Egypt, and later again, in Nazareth, Your beloved Son Jesus and His holy Mother would have been without necessities. Please be mindful of this as You behold the unemployed in their urgent need for income.

St Joseph please pray for unemployed people that their efforts to find work will quickly be successful.

Dear God please have pity on the desperation that so many unemployed persons experience, as so many people are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes. Please help the unemployed to find work.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships.
Please help families and individuals to survive economically and emotionally.
Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease.

Our Mother, St. Michael the Archangel, their guardian angels and patron saints, please pray for them to find work, stability, and satisfaction in their work.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen
