Some of you might have read this in the eastern catholic forum, but two very dear friends of mine are getting married in less than a month. Please pray that they are able to enter into married life with the right attitude and build new lives together in a way that glorifies their faith in the risen savior. Also, pray that their wedding goes off without any major complications.

The reaction of all the couple’s friends was one of both fear and excitement when they announced to us that they would be getting married in less than a month.

On a side note, I believe that they did take care of some of their premarital counseling requirements before they were technically engaged, so that is somewhat of a relief for them.

Also, since the wedding is taking place in less than a month, the groom’s mother has to scramble to get her tourist visa in time for the wedding. Please pray for that to be resolved in time so that she can see her son get married. Bride and groom have the total, 100% support of their friends and family going forward.

I cannot begin to say how much of a blessing that this particular couple has been to their friends and members of the community. The bride lives out her catholic faith and so does the groom. I got to know both bride and groom through a mutual friend and it’s been an honor ever since. Seeing them marry will be an honor because they have been people that I have started to look up to. Pray that they will encourage others through their marriage. ❤️ 👍

Praying the preparations go as planned and everything is accomplished and they have
a beautiful wedding.

Sincerest Prayers:
Our Father who art in heaven…
Hail Mary, full of grace…
Hail Mary, full of grace…
Hail Mary, full of grace…
Glory Be to the Father…
Amen…

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
-Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Dear Lord, please bless and protect this couple as they quickly enter into the sacrament of marriage. I humbly request that you please help them to overcome any difficulties they encounter in “making it happen” and make their day a very special and beautiful one for them and their families.

Dear Blessed Mother, Our Lady Undoer of Knots, please smooth all wedding complications including but not limited to tourist visa and any other practical arrangements, and please pray for this couple to help them have a beautiful wedding and blessed married life.

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I pray with joy that this couple have chosen the
right way to go about “getting hitched”. May the
good Lord pave the way for the mother and others
to attend the wedding. And may their wedding be
a blessing to all who attend, that they will see the
beauty of the Catholic Faith in action!!

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of
Hosts. Heaven and earth are full
of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest,
blessed is He who comes in the
Name of the Lord. Hosanna in the
highest!!
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Thanks for honoring my intention! I am having a meeting with the bride tomorrow to discuss some of the favors, reception stuff, and odds & ends. The groom is an eastern catholic so they are getting married according to the groom’s rite in accordance with canon law. A big concern for them was selecting the crowns. They picked out and ordered the crowns and so please pray that the crowns get here on time. Everything seems to be running smoothly as far as preparations. The bride was able to get out invitations and design a website detailing their nuptials. I will see about posting pictures of the ceremony once it’s done.

I pray that they will be ABLE to do EVERYTHING
they plan to do… with God’s help and according to
His will of course.

From **prayers of St. John of the Cross:
**
O abyss of delights! You are so much the more
abundant the more Your riches are concentrated
in the infinite unity and simplicity of Your unique
being, where one attribute is so known and enjoy-
ed as not to hinder the perfect knowledge and
enjoyment of the other; rather, each grace and
virtue within You is a light for each of Your other
grandeurs. By Your purity, O divine Wisdom,
many things are behold in You through one.
For You are the deposit of the Father’s treasures,
the splendor of the eternal light, the unspotted
mirror and image of His goodness.

The wedding came off without a hitch. The groom’s mother got a visa. Not only was his mother able to come, but we also had the pleasure of being joined by his best man, his aunt & uncle, and several others from Indonesia.
