So I thought I’d make a quick prayer request. The past few days have been difficult in regards to my “friends”. Its occured to me that i really dont have friends who will be there in difficult times. I’ve also seen several anti Christian remarks recently from friends on facebook. And that has made me realize that hardly any of my friends share my religious beliefs. Its made me pretty sad and lonely. So I was just wondering if I could get some prayers, that I might meet some new people who share my faith and won’t abandon me in an our of need.

A Guardian Angel Prayer for Friends
Guardian Angel, watch over those whose names you can read in my heart. Guard over them with every care and make their way easy and their labours fruitful. Dry their tears if they weep; sanctify their joys; raise their courage if they weaken; restore their hope if they lose heart, their health if they be ill, truth if they err, repentance if they fail.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen. :signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen. :signofcross:

A Prayer for True Friendship

Jesus, loving companion of Your children,
You have extended Your friendship to all.
You opened Your arms without discrimination,
Offering Your warmth to those seeking comfort.
Endow me with the virtue of such a friendship,
To know, love and trust all on an equal basis;
To share my patronizing without favorism,
And to be pleasant towards the destitute.
Fashion my heart to reflect Your qualities,
Those befitting of a cordial association.
Jesus, You showed me the way to true friendship:
Blessed is Your amazing and warm Person!
Amen.

Prayers said that you will meet some new people who share your faith and will be faithful friends.
Mary.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I Am
Isaiah 58:9

I"m lonely Lord. I walk in the midst of a crowd and see no face I know:I hear a good story but have no one to tell it to. I sit in my pew at church, among others who share my faith, but none of them know my joys and fears. I know I am not alone in feeling this way but yet I still ache inside.
Finally in the dark of night, I call out to you and you are there. I tell You my problems and you listen. I speak of good things in my life and You smile. I ask for advice knowing it will come in Your time. I am no longer lonely. I am loved. You don’t just notice me and pass on. you really take time to think about me, to pay attention to me. To help me when I need help. You remain my strength despite my circumstances. Teach me to use that strength to help others in need so Your strength reaches others. I am not alone, I am not forsaken. Thank you God. God bless these words.

(Feel Gods presence. The more you read His Word and pray the less lonely you will feel as God draws good friends to you.)

Prayer to St. John the Apostle

Glorious St. John, who, was so beloved by Jesus as to deserve to lay your head upon his divine breast, and to be left, in his place, as son to his most holy Mother; I beseech you to pray for Drew to be guided to loyal, steadfast, like-minded friends. I ask this through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
