Please pray with me for a friend who seems to be without hope, and pray with his wife, so devoted and desiring his return to joy in life, not dispair. Job loss, three heart attacks and listlessness toward his own healthcare and prospects, his wife described Tom as withdrawn from her, family and life itself.

Lord, re-enter into Tom’s life in surprising ways! If I may be your instrument in this, please help me to be. Bless his wife in her efforts to keep home and he supported. Amen.

Dear Jesus, Please help Tom to return to active, joyous life and help his wife to persevere and cope with this situation. Tom has been given some heavy burdens. Please help to lighten his load. If he needs some type of medical or psychological assistance, please help him and his wife to seek and find the right professional help for him. If Tom’s friends can help at all, please inspire them to know just what to say and do to help Tom and his wife. Please send your Holy Spirit to fill Tom with life and joy again. Lord Jesus, our brother Tom is in such despair from the heavy cross he is now bearing. Please grace him with some light, both shining from You and a lightening of his load. His dear wife is struggling but loving and faithful, strengthen her, comfort her and bring peace to this family. We ask this in Your name Jesus Christ, amen.
