For great devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary

Hi everyone,

Can you pray asking God to give all of us, but particularly mysefl, a great devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I seem to have a great deal of trouble with devotion to Her Immaculate Heart.

God bless you all dearly.

Invisiblewitness mentioned DEVOTION to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Church holds that devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is something to be encouraged because she always leads us to her Son.

I would not want to face Jesus Christ at the Judgement having put souls on guard from having a devoted love for His Holy Mother!

Something that would really help you are books or resources produced by Kimberly Hahn and Mark Shea - protestant converts who also struggled with the Marian issue and who are now some of the strongest voices advocating devotion to Mother Mary. invisible witness, I would suggest the writings of St Louis de Montfort, in particular, “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin”. You can get a very good used copy for less than a dollar. Also, here is a little prayer I found…

O Jesus, Divine Master, I thank and bless Your most merciful heart for having given us Mary, most holy, as our Mother, Teacher and Queen. From the cross You placed us all in her hands. You gave her a great heart, much wisdom and immense power. May all mankind know her and pray to her! May all permit themselves to be led by her to You, the Savior of mankind! I place myself in her hands, as You placed Yourself. With this Mother I want to live now, in the hour of my death, and for all eternity. Amen.
 
You definitely have my prayers, invisiblewitness. We ALL should have the greatest devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
