Please pray for myself as I heal from the end of a long and very Catholic relationship that I thought was leading to marriage. At times the heartbreak leads me to despair, which then makes me afraid of approaching our Lord.

Also, please pray for my former boyfriend, who is now discerning a religious vocation.

I miss him dearly, but God’s will be done, not mine.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

I know how you feel since I am experiencing the same emotion as you have right now. I thought our relationship will end to marriage also, but sadly, it ended. Now after 9 years (!), I learned that he got married. I was devastated. I never expected I would feel that way. All those years, I have not healed the hurt. I was stuck in denial and then the worst thing happened because I after we broke up, I attempted suicide 5 times.

I thought I have moved on but I did not. Now, I felt that I am the same situation after our breakup. I wanted to give in to despair, but I dont want to go back to the darkness of depression and I think I am ready to face my hurt and heal my memories and emotion…

I will remember you and pray for you as I pray for my own healing.

Ah, you are indeed a sister-in-Christ. You know this feeling… Furthermore, I felt my patroness watching over me as I read your reply; St. Mary Magdalene is my Confirmation saint. I will be praying for your healing as well! Feel free to message me if you need to share anything; maybe we can learn from each other.

But I’m glad you’re still alive with us on this journey. Perhaps God will use our sufferings to teach us and inspire others in similar situations a lot, I pray. But we must persevere. We’ll pray for each other.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers! You are definitely in mine.

Praying for you and may 2008 be a year that Jesus and Our Lady bring peace and joy into your heart and life and that of your former boyfriend.

Both of you are in my prayers and sufferings

Queen of peace, pray for us!!
Prince of peace, pray for us!!

O most merciful Jesus, grant me Your grace, that it may remain with me always and persevere with me to the end. Grant me always to will and desire what is most pleasing and acceptable to you. Let your will be mine, and let my will always follow Yours in perfect conformity with it. Let my will and desires always be one with Yours; and let me be unable to will or not to will except as You will or do not will. Grant that I may die to all worldly things, and that I may be despised and unknown for love of You. Grant, above all things to be desired, that I may find rest in You, and that in your heart alone may be my peace. You, O Lord, give true peace to the heart and perfect rest to body and soul. Apart from you, all is difficult and never still. In that peace, in You Who are the one, supreme and eternal Good, I will sleep and take my rest(Ps4:9).Amen

Thanks, everyone. You are in my prayers too.
