Hi,
I have been trying to discern what subjects God wants me to write about, and I think I am converging on what He specifically wants me to research and write about.

As I see it, Satan’s main target in all his attacks on God and His Church places a great emphasis on destroying, defacing, and diminishing the institution of the family. Satan’s greatest successes are brought about by and culminate in the tearing down, distorting, and breaking apart the love and virtue of families. he is doing everything he can to crush families. I think I would like to help people focus on what God’s plan for the family is, and help develop the ideas and understandings of what God means for families in order to help heal, uplift, and renew families that have been weakened, corrupted, or broken, and help those young people who are beginning to start families of their own to do so with God’s teachings and plan in mind.

Please pray for God to help me study, research, and understand the meaning and importance of the family, and help me to write about it and discuss it with others in such a way that it bears fruit in God’s children, and glorifies God in Jesus Christ.

Prayer To St. Amelia

St. Amelia, you always wanted to be a bride of Christ from a very young age. Your loyalty and fervor towards your desired vocation led you to firmly rebuff Charlemagne’s advances. He was so insistent and you were so unwilling that he ended up breaking your arm when you resisted holding his hand. Your arm was miraculously healed. Since then you have been the patron saint of shoulder and arm injuries, as well as farmers and fisherman. You were able to enter a convent as you dreamed you would, and we’re an exemplary religious the rest of your life. There are many legends surrounding you, but there is no doubt of your sincerity or virtue.

St. Amelia, we ask your prayers as we go through this life of sufferings, struggles, and broken dreams. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on God like you did, so that we may experience His grace and help in all our needs. Amen.
