The husband of one of my colleagues is one of the coaches, and he was seriously injured in the crash, needing several surgeries in the present and future – broken bones, damage to internal organs, etc. Thankfully, it was an adult and not one of the boys sitting in that seat. A teenager would have been killed.

Please pray for the injured students and coaches. Some of them have sustained serious injuries, and at least one is in danger of death.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may god rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into a high school football team in a bus crash’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Just heard on the news this morning that the driver was killed in the crash.

Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord, and may perpetual Light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. :signofcross:
