Thankyou all for continuing to pray for J&B.

The situation has not improved.

Praying for J&B using the prayer posted by Mary1173…

PRAYER TO
SAINT GERARD MAJELLA
(For A Special Intention)
Saint Gerard,
during your life you extended your help
to the unfortunate and poor around you.
Help me in my present need

for J&B and their financial and personal struggles…

Give me the insight to recognize
the presence of Jesus in the sufferings and troubles of others.
Let not my urgent need for help
cause me to think only of myself.
Following your example,
uniting my prayers
and sufferings with Jesus on the Cross,
may I be transformed into a person of love and compassion.

St. Gerard,
pray for me.

Amen.

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.Mother Mary please intercede for J & B
(Then say three Hail Marys).

Loving God,

We lift our intentions for this family - J, B, and the children - in the hopes your mercy and grace will help them to endure this time of trial and challenge with knowledge of your great love for them:

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair,
nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves
to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.

Amen.

May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me, the shield of God defend me, the host of God save me. May Christ shield me today…Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit, Christ when I stand, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. Thankyou for continuing to pray for J&B. I don’t see any progress being made for them. I am going to ask the moderators to close this thread and continue praying for them in private. There are so many others here with similar situations. I’ll let you all know if things work out for them.
