Hi,

I would be forever grateful if you could help pray for Jay. It’s a long story, but basically his family is abandoning him, and he doesn’t have a job or a decent place to stay.

I’m gonna try to talk to the priests at my parish to see if by chance they have an extra room they can rent for a small price, while he does maintenance and repairs for the parish, and looks for legitimate work.

He’s really down and despairing right now. Please help pray your fervent prayers that I say the right things to the priests, and that they say yes. I know how powerful your prayers are, and I have complete faith and confidence in them.

Thank you very much
Bless you!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Father for the sake of Jesus please find Jay a home, work, and a welcoming community in the parish. Jesus depended on the charitable donations of others and finding what shelter He could in His last three years. In love of Jesus please ensure that he finds home, companionship, and welcome amongst Your people.
Thank You, Father

Trishie,

What a beautiful prayer!

Thank you SO much!

May peace and blessings be upon you

May Christ support us all the day long,
'till the shadows lengthen,
and the evening comes,
and the bust world is hushed,
and the fever of life is oveer
and our work is done.
Then in his mercy
may he give us safe lodging,
and holy rest and peace at the last.

Yes, I’ll remember Jay especially in my rosary intentions today. :byzsoc:

Praying from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 141 (142)
You are my refuge

You are my refuge, Lord, my share in the land of the living.

My voice cries out to the Lord;
my voice cries out its entreaty.
I pour out lamentation in his sight,
I proclaim my troubles before him.

When my spirit is failing within me,
still, Lord, you know my paths.
On the road I was travelling,
they set up a trap for me.
I looked about me and saw
there was no-one beside me to help.
I have nowhere to flee;
and no-one will miss me.

I have cried to you, Lord,
I have said: “you are my refuge, my share in the land of the living.
Listen to my call for help, for I am crushed down.”

“Lead my spirit from prison, so that I may praise your name.
The upright will gather around me, because you have restored me.”

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Thanks, Xyneshia, Annie, and all the rest!

All your prayers worked!!! Deo Gratias!

I typed out this big long letter about Jay looking to stay at the Church, and showed it to the priest. He said, “no dice”. But the next day, Jay found an affordable room for rent in the area he wanted.

Bless you
