So far the watchtower has failed in making predictions. But there is one more that must be looked at.

The battle of armegedon was to be finished during the generation of 1914. It is now 2008.
Has this failed? Remember the slogan was “millions now living will never die” so millions of JW’S living during 1914 would see armegedon.

Are there still millions of JW’S that were adults or even teens during 1914? Even if there were in the next 5 to 10 years they would be gone?

My question is will watchtower continue to survive if the 1914 prediction fails?

And now that the internet is available the jw’s have all but been completely exposed.

My DH is so intelligent, yet, he still believes all the WT stuff… I have questioned him, tried showing him, even bought “Crisis of Conscience” for him, but no luck. He has access to the internet, but doesn’t dare to even question the WT. So, all I have left is to show him by my actions and leave him be.

Well I would never had figured it out if I had not gone to bethel.
At bethel you can realy put the pieces of the puzzle together.

If you were BORN in 1914 you would now be 94 years old. I think it is safe to say that there are not millions from 1914 but just a few thousand. They are busted again. Of course it would be nice if a JW would respond to the question. What I have found on this board when it comes to the mormons is that many catholics and non-catholics have perceptions of mormonism that may not exactly be correct.

Perhaps this is the case here with the JWs. I am sure that JWs know about this understanding that the original poster questions. It would be interesting to see just how a JW responds and why they ignore such predictions that never happened.

They are usually not allowed to take part in forums such as this one. In rare cases they will as long as they feel they might convert you. If they start loosing the debate or feel some doubt about their religion they are instructed to leave. That is why you will almost never see them here or anywhere.
