For Joe and His Family who is breaking apart and in divorce…

For Joe and His Family who is breaking apart and in divorce…
It is such a sad commentary that so many families are breaking up. And, I suspect that the trend will not improve as our economy worsens!

We need to fight back, however! Remember all the grandmothers that used to sit outside on their porches and they would slide the beads through their fingers as they silently prayed? You know, those were the days of faith and those grandmothers were the source of many small miracles as the Lord hearkened to their prayers! How many of us owe our faith to such as they?

I will lift Joe up to the Father in prayer as I say my rosary tonight. I will also pray for the family. Divorce, unfortunately is always a family thing so there are many victims.

May the Lord touch his heart that he may take another look at the situation that surrounds him; and may he learn to see it with different eyes as the Lord opens the eyes of his heart! I will also pray that hearts will be changed from hearts of stone to malleable hearts of flesh that still know how to love! And finally, may there be healing of wounds in all so that they may be able to see the situation with new eyes! I pray the marriage may be healed in the timing of the Lord. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Saint Joseph, Husband of Mary, please pray for Joe and his family.

In Jesus’ name Father, have compassion the family involved in this marriage break-up. Marriage breakup so often involves enormous trauma and grief. It also can traumatize and spoil the lives of any children involved, and is never a light matter to simply brush aside. It is not a matter simply for us to say as one poster has, “Oh, but don’t worry about it”… and, effectively 'find someone else." Father teach us empathy for others and to pray for them.

Father we have compassion for others’ marriage break-ups, and have followed many of our members through their attempts to save their marriages and in their struggles to cope with loss of their spouse. Some of us have seen the devastation of separtaion and divorce in family marriages, of parents and siblings and our childre, Lord have mercy on them all and help them to rescue their relationships where they can.

Remembering Joe and his family in my prayers and Masses.

Joe and his family will be in my prayers.***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

Come Holy Spirit, fill this family with Your presence and help them to serve You, even in this time of uncertainty.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Always sad to hear this - will keep Joe and family in my prayers…
