Jesus who was wrongly accused of blasphemy and deception,
give comfort and strength to the innocent who are in danger of wrongful conviction or imprisonment.

Please grant justice to those who are wrongfully accused or judged.
Against all the false evidence, let them be swiftly cleared.

Please allow Your Holy Spirit to convey truth that shines overwhelmingly clear,
despite public opinion and before the accusations of others,
however convincing or supported by false evidence.

Jesus let false accusations be put aside, so that good people can live in peace and freedom.
Grant healing to those whose lives and health and finances have been damaged by false witness.

Thank You God of love, truth and justice.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (the falsely accused or falsely judged), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer to St. Gerard for Those Who are Falsely Accused

O glorious St. Gerard, when falsely accused of crime, you bore,
like Your Divine Master, without complaint, the calumnies
of wicked people.

Please intercede for all those unjustly accused of crime
or other misdeeds. Through your intercession, may God
free the falsely imprisoned and restore the reputations of
the innocent.

At the same time, beseech our Just Father to comfort
the host of victims who lack evidence to prove crimes
committed against them.

Through the the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, may
all victims of calumny and of victims of crimes be assured
that all will be set right in the world to come.

I ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, the spotless
Lamb of God, Who suffered and died for the sins of all
humankind, amen.
