For KOC brother Jim : medication induced suicidal thoughts

Please pray for Jim, a good Catholic and Knight, who just recently developed persistent suicidal thoughts after a dosage increase in an important medication he is taking.

He has been living with these thoughts for about a week and a half. There are only a few medications that will bring relief to a chronic pain condition he has. He is working with a pain management clinic and his Doctor has been advised of this development.

He is imagining things and visiting some of those assisted suicide web pages. He has never had suicidal thoughts before this. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.
 
Praying for Jim. Will include him in my remaining 2 decades of the rosary I have left for today. And may St. Michael protect him and dispel the evil suicidal thoughts. Amen. :signofcross:
 
Praying for him. It sounds like he should be hospitalized for his safety and for proper treatment.
 
Praying that Jim finds immediate necessary treatment and/or intervention for suicidal thoughts. Also praying that he find relief from his chronic pain with meds that don’t induce such thoughts.
 
Whenever the suicidal thots come to him
advise him to say:“satan, leave me alone,
in Jesus’ Name” out loud, three times if
necessary, this is none other than the devil’s
fiery darts that seem to have penetrated
his Spiritual Armor thru the drug induced
state he is in.

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in
battle, be our defense against the snares
and wiles of the devil. May God rebuke him
we humbly pray, and do O’ prince of the
heavenly host, by the power of God, cast
into hell satan, and all evil spirits who
wander about the earth seeking the ruin of
souls.

Please Jim or his family, urgently and persistently communicate with your doctor(s) about this development. I’ve also been there myself, with medication side effects. It can be frightening, but overcome.:hug1:

I am so terribly sorry to hear about this.

Prayers said for your friend Jim and his family, too.

I hope that he can find some relief from this, as well as his pain, too.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Jim). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Jim’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
