Pax Christi.

Today I pray and fast for marriages.

May the Lord bless and preserve all marriages and keep them God-centered.

May He bring together good, loving people to live out their lives in Holy Matrimony.

All are of course welcome to join me this day in prayer and sacrifice.

God bless.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Let us all pray also for an increase for the vocation of marriage.

Blessing for a Marriage

O Lord, bless all marriages,
for they are united in love of you and of each other.
Redeemed by your Precious Blood
and strengthened by your grace,
may they live in kindness and fidelity,
in unfailing trust and love
so that their whole life may be pleasing to you.

Mary, who with Joseph
made a happy home at Nazareth for Jesus,
take these dear friends into your motherly care.
You who showed concern for a newly married couple at Cana,
help and guide all marriages.
May their union on earth lead to that eternal union
in which all the blessed will be joined together,
praising the Redeeming Blood of Jesus, the Lord.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amoungst women,
And blessed os the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Mother Mary, please intercede for all families here on earth.

Lord, wash all broken families in your precious blood and remove all negative feelings they have for each other and fill them with your constant love.

Lord, take away from them all bitterness, anger and the desire to hurt each other. May they grown strong in your love.

Lord, have mercy on those families where they have no time for Prayer. May they come closer to you through daily family prayer.

Lord, have pity on families where they live only to gratify the flesh. May they grow spiritually.

Lord Jesus, have mercy on all families who believe in black magic, witchcraft and other evil practices. Set them free Lord, from all these bondages and help them to believe only in You – one God forever and ever.

Lord, have mercy on families who live in selfishness and pride, and where there is no real sharing of all that you have given to them generously. May they live their lives for you.

Lord have mercy on families who suffer because of alcoholism or drug addiction. Lord touch them and heal them. Give to all who are affected, strength and the courage to accept their and to wait patiently for deliverance.

Lord have mercy on couples who do not have a child, a good job, a house to live in. Lord bless them in your kindness and mercy.

Lord we pray for all those who are struggling with sickness, financial problems, and other sufferings. Lord, be merciful to them and help them in their needs.

Lord, we pray that all families may give the first place to Jesus in their hearts and thus become your witnesses.

Lord, give us real sorrow for all our sins and give us the strength to live a virtuous life and to always glorify you. Amen.

Praying with you and that the Lord may strengthen and guide all marriages.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Lord, help married couples remember when they first met and the strong Love that grew between them.

To work that Love into practical things so nothing can divide them.

We ask for words both kind and loving, and for hearts always ready to ask for forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Dear Lord,we put all marriages into your hands.

We pray this*all Marriages in the name of Jesus Christ, - AMEN
