For married people, how many dates until you found your spouse?

I only had 2 other serious relationships. Those relationships last a while (1 and 2.5 years), especially saying that I was in High School. I have always found dating for dating’s sake to be obnoxious and a waste of time.

I never dated anyone who I didn’t know for a while prior to dating. In all reality they were all more like a courtship than anything.
 
I had one not serious and two semi-serious relationships before I met my husband. I say semi-serious because, at the time I thought they were potential “the ones” but afterward it was very clear that they definitely weren’t “the one”. Thankfully my decisions at 18/19 didn’t decide the course of my life.🙂
 
I’m not voting on this, because of how the question is worded.

I don’t mean that in a bad way or that it was a fault of the OP.

What I am saying is that I went out with a lot of women before I got married without worrying about classifying the relationship.
