We lift up our prayers and intentions on behalf of our friend Peggy today who is suffering from some continuing health challenges and is in pain. We ask for your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with Peggy to help her endure her trials and challenges with courage, hope, and strong faith in your divine providence. We ask for healing and mercy for dear Peggy, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Lord, we also ask for the gift of continuing and improving prayer life for Peggy, that she may continue to grow in her relationship with dear Jesus as you have called her and may this help her to make it through each day with hope and knowledge of your great love for her.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

the health of those who suffer from disease,
look kindly upon the sick person for whom I pray.

Alleviate their sufferings,
cause them to sanctify them by patience,
and by complete submission to divine will.
Finally deign to obtain health for them
and with it the firm resolution to honour Jesus, Mary and yourself
by the faithful performance of their Christian duties.
