Throughout the old and new testament of the bible, when the Angel Gabriel appears to someone, he says Do Not Be afraid, this can me seen with Zacharias, Daniel, Mary and Joseph. However, when he appears to Muhammad in the Qur’an he doesn’t say “Do not be afraid” rather, he sqeezes Muhammad leading him to run out of the cave. It is his wife Khadija who convinces him that what he saw was an angel. So for us as christians, it is a little stechy to believe what Muslims claim. Can you show us some sort of proof or give us an explanation for this? Thank you.

Good luck with this one!
Im yet to see a good explanation!
I have not yet seen even what i would call a ‘reasonable’ explanation.
I think there is even a thread already dedicated to this you might want to search and read…
Good luck!

Angel Gabriel appears to someone… Zacharias, Daniel, Mary and Joseph.
Hi

So you believe that Gabriel appeared to ProphetsMessengers of GodAllahYHWH and other saintly persons, likewise he appeared and conveyed the message to Muhammad, so it is not a strange thing to happen.

Quran

[2:94] And remember the time when We took a covenant from you and raised high above you the Mount, saying, ‘Hold firmly to what We have given you and hearken;’ They said, ‘We hear and we disobey;’ and their hearts were saturated with the love of the calf because of their disbelief. Say ‘Evil is that which your faith enjoins on you, if you are believers,’
[2:95] Say, ‘If the abode of the Hereafter with Allah is solely for you to the exclusion of all other people, then wish for death, if you are truthful.’
[2:96] But never shall they wish for it, because of what their own hands have sent on before them; and Allah knows the wrongdoers well.
[2:97] And thou shalt surely find them, of all people, the most covetous of life, even more than those who set up equals with God. Every one of them wishes that he may be granted a life of a thousand years, but his being granted such a life shall not remove him further away from the punishment; and Allah sees all they do.
[2:98] **Say, ‘Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel’ - for he it is who has caused it to descend on thy heart by the command of Allah, fulfilling that revelation which precedes it, and is a guidance and glad tidings to the believers. **
[2:99] ‘Whoever is an enemy to Allah, and His angels, and His Messengers, and Gabriel, and Michael, then surely, Allah is an enemy to such disbelievers.’
[2:100] And surely We have sent down to thee manifest Signs, and none disbelieves in them but the disobedient.

GodAllahYHWH Himself is a witness that he sent down Gabriel on the heart of Muhammad.

I think witnessing of GodAllahYHWH is sufficient for a truthful person, one should agree.
No compulsion

Thanks

The angel Gabriel (as) did indeed introduce himself to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) when he was going down the mountain immediately after that brief first encounter in the cave.

You can get an idea of how this incident occured by watching this movie segment.
(between 12 -15 minutes into the movie)

Still not convinced.
There is NO tangible proof in this really is there!

The tangible proof of the Truth of Islam is none other than the Qur’an.

Always has been and always will be i.e. at least till when the world comes to an end.

When the Last Day is very near, the verses of the Qur’an will vanish from every single copy that might still exist and from the memories of everyone alive then regardless of whether they are believers or not.

Hi

My understanding is that it is not supported by Quran, seems to be a misconception/misunderstanding.

Quran

[15:10] Verily, it is We Who have sent down this Exhortation(Quran), and most surely We are its Guardians.

Verse written 600 years before the aledged vision of Muhammed.

" For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians
11:13-14
The fullness of the Judeo Christian Bible cements it as the final revelation of the Word of God.
650 yrs after the death of our Lord…Muhammad saw Satan disguised as an angel of light…and surely has decieved many…just as the passage states.

God Bless.

“By their fruits you shall know them”.

The ‘fruits’ of Islam are clear. War, terror, subjugation of women, intolerance, fear, sharia law…etc.

Correct. In our case, the Prophet Messengers of God provided proof of their Divine mission. Therefore, when they said that the Angel appeared to them, there was no reason to doubt their truthfulness.

There is no evidence to support that claim.

No. All that gives is a person’s imaginative version of a fictional account.
