OK folks, here is the deal.

If you are honest enough to say upfront and without conditions that you simply do not know for sure what ancient Jews believed and practiced, then I will stop posting the argument that the Jews of Medina did not dispute the Qur’anic verse in question.

However, if you insist on saying that you do indeed know what ancient Jews believed and practiced, then I believe that I have the right to respond to your, in my opinion, totally false contention.
Could you show me where anyone said that we outright know what a possible small sect of Jews believed? Maybe they were scared to contradict M. Hamba…you are the one saying that you and muslims know.

That’s funny 'cause I’m left handed also. But I learned right handed. It has some benefits… but also some disadvantages. Chords are probably easier for me since I’m using my left hand…but my strumming stinks.

In fact, it is not just an opinion, I know that you are plainly WRONG when you say this.
Saying, “You’re wrong!” doesn’t make it so.

People have posted in response to you evidence that we know what Jews back then believed. The very notion that we have no idea of knowing what ancient faiths believed is just ludicrous. We know, for example, what the Chinese believed spiritually thousands of years ago. We know what the Hindus believed thousands of years ago. We know about the life of the first Buddha and what he believed. Heck, according to your belief, we’re not even certain what the “ancient” Muslims believed.

Instead of simply repeating your assertion and making bold claims, why not simply respond to what has been presented to you as evidence that we do know?

God forgive me for what I am about to do, but I have a two-word review of Hamba2han’s arguments in this thread that may ring true with some of us here: **** sandwich.

No, I guess they can’t print that here… 😃

👍:rotfl::extrahappy: :hypno: :ouch:

since the people accused of saying that Ezra is the Son of God did NOT dispute the charge leveled against them
I’ve seen no evidence from you that they were aware of the charge, that they took it seriously, or that they did not dispute it.

Hamba…seriously. I’m suddenly reminded of that scene in This is Spinal Tap where a Spinal Tap crew member points out that their stereo system goes up to 11. An interviewer points out the illogical nature of having a sound system that goes to 11. After an awkward pause, the Spinal Tap crew member responds with, “Yeah but…these go to 11.”
LOL.

Without evidence to the contrary it must be assumed that they worshipped as other Jews do. That is called “logic”, if you want to make the claim that they differ from the norm you have to provide evidence, not just say it will show up later.

And I don’t mind your logic that if it isn’t disputed it must be true, as it allows me to now make the infallible claim that Mohammed was a goat, since there has been plenty of time for Muslims to respond, and yet none have we thus know it to be true, and a closed case.

From a preceding post…

**We still haven’t heard anything about Mohammad (pbuh) not being a goat!?!?! So he must be.

To the muslim members on CAF ~

Who is Ezra??? / Uzair???

State from **your **islamic view please.

Okay! Okay! Would you compromise on this?
I’ll accept that.

And don’t worry BW, I’m sure some day a Muslim willing to give a logical argument will come around. I’ve heard a few say they would, but when I gave a link they didn’t show.😦

Hey now, that can’t be right - he doesn’t seem to be prostrating in the right direction! 😃

(P.S., Sorry ByzWolf - your thread seems to have gone way off course! 😦 )

Is this better??😃

JC…now that the schism has been healed…I must suggest a mis-spelling of yours. I believe that we must in all fairness to English we have to put a “u” between the q and the o. So…while we are in agreement…we should refer to mohammad as a squoat (pbuh). Thereby keeping faithful to the proper English AND also contributing the “u” from squirrel to the name. This also adds symmetry with 3 letters from squirrel and three letters from goat. I believe this also satisfies the perfectness of the koran. 😃
